A concept is simply something you derive meaning from.
This meaning maps with other meanings (concepts) to produce outcomes.

How Do These Concepts Work?
Human experience is a transfer of energy and information. As you create these concepts you apply meaning to things, over time this meaning of these things changes, the original concept means something different.
These concepts can be anything. Something you read from a book, something a competitor is doing, what your dream is, how you have seen this done before, ideas, theories, facts, solutions, games, styles, answers, stories or memories. It's what it means to you that's important.
Changing the meaning of these concepts changes the relationship you have with what you apply them to, your business, yourself or others.
What does a Map of Reality look like?
This is the worlds most beautiful equation, its beauty is compared to a Shakespearean sonnet, that is no one can explain how it fits together.
How do the three components on the left plus one, equals zero?
These concepts work in a similar fashion, they evolve and emerge to make something that right now your mind can't reconcile with. Out the other side comes something that right now you can't reach. This is your change, transformation or reinvention.

Collective Design means the meaning of things changes over time, much like being human. It's how abstract thought becomes a rational path within the collective. How does the designer, the architect, the accountant and the consultant work together to achieve outcomes and how can it be different?
It's through toying with the time and semantic space you begin to see how things fit together differently. This space works because of the collective self, because other people will bring out a different side of to you, it's how we're all connected.
The more of these meanings you can toy with over time, the more ingenious you will be and the more you will change your relationship with things.
